Thermoregulation – brood rearing
New package rapid onset
This is representative of many examples we have seen this spring and summer when all of a sudden the temperature stays rock steady in the “BroodZoneTM” at the 95-96F level, indicating that new offspring is being reared. The above chart is an ideal example of a package colony, placed into a hive, and thermoregulation is achieved within about a month. The chart indicates a determined colony coming on strong with a large number of bees. Be aware of swarming potential later on, stay tuned!
